To start the morning, the
Cornell team attended the second day of the National Conference on Minimum Wage
Policy held at TDTU, which was an intellectually stimulating time, indeed.

Later
in the morning, we attended a class on cross-cultural management, led by Mrs.
Vinh, with some of TDTU’s international business students. After introducing
ourselves, the Cornell students joined small groups of TDTU students to exchange
cultures. The exercise was a very fun way to get to know the students and learn
about Vietnamese customs.

We went to a food court at the local Lottemart for lunch,
before returning to campus for a lecture on corporate social responsibility
with Ha Dang, an HR consultant with Respect Vietnam. After an intriguing
lecture, we rested before the second night of the week-long Debate Program, which
served as a great exercise for the Cornell and TDTU students to improve our argumentation
and public speaking skills. We ended the night by joining several other TDTU
students for dinner at a local District 7 vegan restaurant.
